DD Women Achiever Award presented to Malar Varatharaja (2015)

After working with South Asian youth, she wanted to create awareness on untouched topic of abuses.

Malar took her son to meet Ventern’s at the New Cenotoph in Markham. She wanted to educate and share their sacrifices for the country.

Malar initiated, created and hosted a youth TV show to Empower and Awareness for youth. The show was focused mainly on youth and their achievements, and issues. It was an educational and informative show.

Malar was one of the panelists to talk about the importance of arts, and the benefits of it.
